HI, you are only 1 post away from a 1000 posts :j

anyway, read your post on the benefits forum.

Yes, that is normal, in exceptional circumstances, not everyone requires an interview. If as explained, everything you have submitted satisfies their criteria, they do not need a Dr to assess you.

Based on what you have posted in this diary,I agree with their decision. i don't think it is something being faked, like a bad back, and claiming you cannot work, and then the newspapers find you up a ladder retiling a roof for cash in hand!

Based on your condition and your GP and Hospital reports, they have concluded that you don't need to be subjected to any more questions/tests, etc.

This doesn't mean you cannot work if you choose to and you get a job.

I'm off to dentist this afternoon, broke my tooth this week..... eating a raisin!

What post number 3 is saying....

The DSS don't usually read someone's form and say it is ok, based on the information provided, we believe you and you don't need to attend a medical, you have automatically been awarded ESA.

96% of people who were on benefits and being moved over to ESA will have to attend a medical. And whether they will still qualify or will need to look for work will depend on that medical.

He/she is saying as you are one of the few that has passed, you should put yourself in a photo frame and hang the picture in the gallery of rare specimens who have passed.

sarcastic but not sarcastic if you get what I mean. he/she is saying how the system works, it is rare to hear of someone not needing the interview.

to link to another post or thread, first go to the thread/post. If it is a post, you want to make it a single post so you can link to it. So double click on the number in the right hand side corner of the post, this will open it in a new window.

Then when it is in a new window, goto the tool bar where it says forums.moneysavingexpert.com/xxxxxxx, highlight the whole of this and copy it.

Come back to your post where you want to post the link, write a word, like Here, and then goto this symbol at the top of the reply box

    createlink.gif

paste the url, the copied text into the box, click on ok. This now makes your word Here a clickable link. To identify it as a clickable link, change the colour of the word to blue, and bold it. This is a web standard way of saying this is a clickable link.

You should go to the dentist while it is free for you hun. Even NHS charges are from £26.50 upwards. Today is going to cost me £47 and they want me to go back again for more stuff.

Good luck hun! You really do need to get out of that house! Even though it is spotless as you have looked after it so well... not your fault about the damp. Has LL bothered to make an effort to contact you about it? When she will bother to come and look?

Have you had rats? Hope she got rentokill in or something equivalent. They are not easy to get rid of. We had them in our last rented flat, the LL from hell there.... must be related to yours! WE had same problems as you with them and they screwed us out of our deposit and the Estate Agent was next to useless! Told them next time they rent properties they should actually bother to look at them first!!!

I would tell you to get environmental health involved with damp, rats, etc, but I did this with my ex LL and he just got angry and told me not to involve third party people! But they are very good EH and will not stop until resolved.

Universe please send HI a decent place to live ASAP!!!!!!
