join netmums for the area, goto meet a mum page, you can arrange to meet other mums in public areas like playgroups etc, make new friends for you and the kids.

also see what else is on in the area for free/cost - like farms/playgrounds/activity groups.

where we are, it is a trek for me to go anywhere by bus, like the bunny farm, farms, etc. But we have a manmade lido, and I took DS there yesterday as this is an easier journey than the farms. He loved it, it was free, had toilets, man made beach, so he was making sandcastles, had a little dip in the water, they have a train service during holidays and weekends and there was a water fountain for the kids to play with. He loved it and didn't want to come home. The only cost was his bucket and spade and an icecream.

so definitely worth working on netmums for local things to do, even woods to go walking in, etc.

still not feeling well, only dr appointment could get is at 10 to 8 tonight....:rotfl: can see that going down well with DH!

Anyone know how I make it so overseas bidders can bid on my items? I've checked buyer requirements and there are none, but the buyer keeps saying she cant bid :/

    Creating an exemption list

If you've already set up buyer blocks, you can allow specific eBay members to bid on or purchase your items regardless of any requirements by adding them to your buyer requirements exemption list. Use one of the following methods to exempt buyers:

To exempt buyers using the buyer requirements exemption list:
Go to the Buyer requirements exemption list page.
Enter the user IDs of the eBay members you want to exempt from buyer requirements.
    Click Submit.
To exempt buyers using the buyer requirements activity log:
    Go to My eBay.
Click the Account tab, and click Site preferences on the left.
In the Selling preferences section, scroll to Buyer requirements, and click Show.
Click the Buyer requirements activity log.
Tick the box next to the eBay members you want to exempt.
Click Exempt from buyer requirements at the bottom of the page.
Note: You'll sometimes see an asterisk (*) in place of a user ID in the buyer requirements activity log. This is because we can't disclose certain user IDs in accordance with our Privacy Policy and User Agreement. In this case, you'll be unable to add those members to your buyer requirements exemption list.
