Well, I emailed Tesco yesterday about their value cocoa, and they've rung me today to say that they're not selling it at the moment, but that it is being rebranded and their supplier changed and will be on sale again in the New Year.
so hopefully, fingers crossed, it will still be cheaper than the other ones.
Just thought I would pass that on!0 -
Thanks for letting everyone know caz0

Thank you for emailing....knowing Tesco it will come back at a much higher price!0 -
I've just seen Tesco Value Cocoa Powder on MySupermarket - £1.29 for 250g, £1 cheaper than their normal own brand for the same amount, Asda's normal own brand is £1.97 for 250g and can't see an own brand at Sainsburys, just branded ones.
Hope this helps someone, I'm going to get some so that I can make my brownies again!!0 -
I meant to look for this thread the other day as I picked some up at my local tescos last week.
I was very glad to see it back in stock.0 -
I did my Sainsburys order for delivery next week and see no Sainsburys cocoa powder on there and Cadburys has gone up to £2.99/250g. Will have to look next time I'm in town, although our local big town has no Tescos so will try lidl/aldi/morrisons."A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make them biscuits." - Mary Cooper

Is there any difference in different sorts of cocoa? I also needed some and my Tesco was out of value but I found Bournville in Morrisons on offer at £2. Haven't used it yet so I don't know if it's any different.0
