The last few times i've been to tesco they haven't got any value cocoa powder which i use alot for cooking. Has Tesco stopped selling value cocoa powder? (it was the cheapest cocoa powder i could find..asda and tescos cheapest now is £1.79)
I find tesco so frustrating when they just stop stocking things for weeks...sometimes they start to sell them again a couple of months later (eg value dishwasher tablets a few months ago) and then sometimes they don't stock them again???????:mad:
Rant over now, i feel better for it

Try Aldi though not sure how much it is at the moment [if they still sell it]. They used to have this for 99p a couple of years ago, think it still might be cheaper than what the supermarkets are currently selling.0

OP I've noticed the same in the 2 T's that I shop in.
I use approx half a big tub of cocoa a week, so I need to get it as cheaply as possible.
I may have a look in Aldi and Lidl next week - I've not actually looked in there for it.Stone walls do not a prison make, nor iron bars a cage.0 -
It's funny you asked this question, I have been looking for some for the last couple of weeks!! I can't find any value cocoa in Tesco, a basics one in Sainsburys or a smartprice one in Asda, I ended up having to get their normal one, but it was the only one I could find - I spent ages walking round Sainsburys trying to find where they kept the cocoa powder!!
I'm popping to Lidl later today probably, but I think from when I looked in there a few weeks ago, they didn't have any either. Typical!!0 -
Tescos have just put up the price of cocoa to £2.29  after their "Big Price Drop" from £1.97 to £1.79. This is despite wholesale cocoa prices falling 35% since March. They must think we're stupid!
(Worth looking out for DTD though)
