I've been trying for days to get these ugg boots for my daughter, for her xmas. I've been on half a dozen websites (which sell them at around $100 to $120) but they all insist on payment by VISA only. Can anyone recommend a retailer that accepts Matercard or Paypal ?
They will be coming from the US or China if you are paying in dollars. They may very well be fake, and by the time they clear customs the chance of being delivered in time is very slim indeed.
If you need them for Christmas just bite the bullet and buy them local.

Real Ugg Australia authorised online retailers can be found here.

If the site you're looking at isn't on the list, you'll be buying fakes at best (which you might be happy with). At worst, you'll lose your money completely.

  • I'm not paying £200 for boots. My sisters have bought them for less than £100 and they're delighted with them. That's good enough for me.
It's just a pain that they require VISA. BTW there's nothing dodgy about the sites - I can smell a scam a mile off, these are just retailers selling online.
  • I think if a store was based somewhere where the trademark was registered, and was aimed at customers where the trademark was registered, anyone ordering Uggs would expect the specific brand to which the trademark belonged.

so if I ordered a pair of Ugg boots from Australia and New Zealand would you say I was buying fakes?
Indeed most of these websites are actually based in China and they do not have a TM for Ugg boots there I should imagine. Along with all the fake nikes and adidas that come out of there

  • i thought the same thing about online scams i've been using eCommerce since day one and thought i was very web savvy.... clearing i am not or i wouldn't have fallen for this ugg scam...

As i believe NOW, thats ugg/dockers only allow certain retailler to sell their products a bit like chanel, so if you by a pair that are affiliated with the ugg/dockers you may run into issues if you have a defective pair as they would not cover you because you purchased from an non authorised retailer...
