Uggs Online Scam

Hi all out there....
Not sure i am posting this in the right place, but i need help or advice, has anyone ever delt with a site called amritsales? They claim to sell cheep Ugg Boots.

I was buying a Christmas present for my girlfriend, i googled "Ugg Boots sale uk". The above website was at the top of google's list so i click on it, very professional looking site with every ugg boot you could think off, seen the pair my gf wanted for just over £55, sweet i thought and i went though the channels to purchase it.

At the payment page i was taken to a payment gateway!!!! (ECPSS Payment Gateway). i thought this was slighty strange, but considered it to be just an American thing! i was also in a rush as gf was padding about upstairs.

Now when i made payment i recevied a confirmation from ECPSS Payment Gateway, but nothing from the website i ordered from, now a debt from my account has come out for a name i dont reconize for around £60 (converted from US Dollars)....

Still no confirmation from the website, i checked the site again and loged in to my member area to find my order still pending. So i decided to contact them to see whats happening... to my shock and horror  i found the website has no link to contact them.

so have i been royally ripped off ot has people out the delt with this website and will everything be fine, if not can i get my money back some how????

    http://www.amritsales.com/contact_us.html

While I am not quick to condemn a website for using gmail is does raise some very red flags in my head.

Though that website has been around since 2003, so meh.

    Very professional looking site???!!!

They are using a gmail email address! Not to mention the absolutely appalling English!

    I'd say you're screwed.

    Quite easy to find really.

On their homepage, or any other of their pages, click on Site Map at the bottom of the page.

Scoll towards the bottom of the Site Map page, and under the Information heading click on Contact Us.

    How did you pay?
    Credit card or debit card?

Maybe MSE's Section 75 Refunds article can help you, but that payment gateway may scupper that.
Worth approaching your card issuer though.

a friend of a friend was selling uggs for £25 a pair or 2 pairs for £40.
They are clearly fake but i hear he sold out within a day or so.

If it looks too good to be true it probably is....

edit. He wasnt selling them online just through word of mouth.
