Message Body
Dear Mr Xl.
Thank you for your recent communication addressed to Mr T T, our interim Chief Executive Officer. It is very important to us to ensure that our customers receive competent yet helpful and friendly advice, during any business dealings they may have with us and I am sorry to hear that you have had cause to voice your concerns with the Business.
Firstly, I would like to apologise for the delay you have experienced whilst your refund has been completed. I have requested that the refund be re calculated to ensure you receive up to date 8% interest on your refund. In order to avoid any further delay, I have instructed our refund team to make an urgent payment to your LTSB bank account, for the full amount of refund due to you. I have sent under separate cover, a revised letter confirming the new amount due to you. You should expect to receive your refund no later than 9 December 2011.
I trust this will resolve matters between us and would like to thank you for your patience while your fund has been completed.
Yours sincerely
AB

Anyone got any tips on my next course of action?Mr Marksman you seem to be the magic man!!!LOL0 -
Just finished a call to the loan people at Lloyds. I have a payment going into my account on the 13th. When I asked about the other loans, I was told that as they are already closed I may receive the refunds either in cheque or directly into my account. I hope I don't have loads of little cheques arrive.
I had tried calling PPI call centre this morning but I hung up after 20 minutes.
I do hope the money will be in my account on the 13th as I have direct debits coming out around then.0 -

I have finally managed to get through to the Lloyds PPI customer service department. Apparently, all of my refunds will be paid individually into my current Lloyds account. A good thing, but of course with the high volume and backlog, the lady I spoke to couldn't say whether I would get my money next week or even before Christmas (she didn't say which Christmas!). She just said that I should just keep checking my bank account.0

Had a letter sent to me on 16th Nov giving me a settlement of £2k. rang them and was told there was no time scale for when I will receive payment. So was not expecting anything till after Christmas, when a cheque for £2k arrived this morning. I dont know why mine only took a few weeks but I do know that I applied for this last year and Nov was the first time I have heard from them.
:T was about to get a loan to pay for Christmas as well.0 -
