i'm flabbergasted!!! I used my £5 coupon for the graze offer and was very careful when ordering to makew sure i clicked on the 'redeem voucher' bit (I'm sure I was!!) but i now see that the credit still seems to be there to use!! However it did it on 3 december and its not on my credit card yet so am a bit puzzled. I have to say i've had great stuff thru groupon and never a problem. One local business decided to stop taking the vouchers as they had been inundated, i contacted groupon by email and within a week they had put a credit on my account, i reckon it would have been harder if i'd wanted a 'proper' refund but it was only £20 so was happy for them to give me a credit. I was also 'messing around' one day (!) and bought champagne balloon flights by accident!! I emailed them straight away and they cancelled it, cant remember whether i got a refund or whether they never actually charged my card so I have to say they've been fine as far as i;m concerned

Their reply was "WE CANT" refund back to card WHY NOT?, Youve taken money without authorisation! Still Trying via E-Mail.!!

It let me use my daughters code no problem after using mine, the snuggle blankets in the christmas section on groupon are a good stocking filler and only £3.99 plus postage with the discount. I used mine today fine, Ive never had a problem with groupon I use them all the time, I have however had a few problems with the companies that use them and as soon as Ive notified groupon they refunded either back to my card or through credit, whichever I chose, I find them far better than kgb who can be a bit arsy if you arent happy... I know they are being investigated by the OFT but thats because the companies concerned dont realise the weight of the advertising and get bombarded with orders they cant cope with, groupon refunds customers that complain and they could potentially lose out. I enquired about doing it for our company for an advertising boost, and have spoken to 7 businesses I know that have used it, and they praise it as its brought them new customers without the advertising expense..
I say from a consumer point of view particularly groupon is great, you are as safe ordering through them as an intermediatary than big high stores (who dont care less about your complaints half the time)
