I think they save your card details for future purchases don't they? I used Paypal as I didn't want to use the card they had the details saved for, and it was quicker and easier than typing out the card numbers.0

Thanks op. Just checked my emails and I have a voucher expiring the 10th. Now to find a decent offer. Hope everyone having payment issues gets it resolved.0

I bought the Oddono's icecream deal. Used the voucher and selected Paypal and was subsequently charged for it. Bought it again using the Credit Card and it was fine. Don't mind having the ice-cream twice! Will give the other one to a friend as a pressie!0

No, I think you just click 'buy' then on the next screen 'complete order' or similar. You don't have to enter any card details as far as I can remember. Bit worrying now I come to think of it! :eek:Property buying/selling timeline - currently into week 21

I've also just had a weird experience with this... I went to buy something for £9, put in my £5 off code and then opted to pay the balance by paypal, expecting to pay £4. But it showed the balance as £1... so I went through, and then clicked on "my credit" afterwards which showed I already had some credit - so presumably they automatically took this too (though they really should ask first!)
But here's the weird thing... I had more than enough credit to cover the whole thing! The screen said the following:
08-Dec-2011 £5.00 08-Dec-2011 Reward used on 08-Dec-2011 07-Sep-2011 £6.00 08-Dec-2011 Reward used on 08-Dec-2011
So I have been charged £11 of credit but only been given the value of £8 and then asked to pay £1 on top. It says on the email that remaining value will be credited to my Groupon account if I buy something less than £5 so surely even if it is using my £6 first (without asking!), it should take the full remaining balance (£3) from the voucher and credit me with £2, rather than charging me £1 and forefeiting my remaining credit?!
I first thought that maybe it said in the email that it uses any remaining credit first and you forefeit any left over from the £5 but it actually says the opposite, and it's odd that it can just choose to use my credit, and also the £1 is strange!
I have emailed them... hope they will actually be helpful. So just another warning to check your figures. Unless I'm being really thick?!0 -
i got the santa letters for 4.50 mine was fine as it says remaining gift balance 0.500
