I'm so pleased you're joining us, Stressed. Sorry about the temporary 'simple' name I gave you, see, I'm not saying a word! :silenced: Went back to GFU last night and have my eye on another pot for a gift!
Hi Elle1267, I was so sorry to hear about the job, you'd obviously really set your heart on, but you're not dwelling on it and instead are looking to the future and what you'll spend you savings on.Well done, Elle, the best way by far. A good idea about the laptop, just keep willing the current on on! A nice little pick up with the 22p roadkill.!
No need to put your No on with your savings, cupcakeprincess, that's why we ask you to pop it on your siggy. 6p's good!
That's it, kirsty, if YOU don't need it, flog it on as someone will.
I never got to count my cash in my dream, laisbojar, darn good job too as it was whisked away from me come waking. You have a wonderful time with the kiddies, worth their eight in gold - even if they can't have the £2ers! :grinheart
You be as happy as you like about saving, wannabee_in_credit, it's extremely healthy, I'm sure it also helps knowing there are so many of us doing the same, possibly at the same time too. Great news about the 20p roadkill!!! :j
You're so funny with your thoughts, kerri, not wrong though when you think about it. That's the trouble with being a fat cat!!!
Oh, I love the £1s too, nanto3girls, so satisfying.
oooh you lucky thing, elfen!!! :j

80p for me today.
I won't be posting again now until Sunday evening / Monday as we are away for the weekend. But I am unlikely to be spending anything so will have nothing to pot anyway.
Enjoy your weekend all.

Thanks for the explanation Kerfuffle, I'd no idea even though our friends are there, but then unless you actually talk cash I suppose you wouldn't. Keep hunting Kerf..and remember...you don't just need to have cash to say "Hi" so there!
Sue-UU - well that's fortunate " HI " :rotfl:
Canada is a very big place! My OH is going there for 4 months in February and I keep forgetting which bit it is, it was going to be Montreal but now it's some obscure place.
Hi Kerri_dfw, indeed it is a very big place and there are a lot of obscure places in Canada, although it's very easy to get about if you have a car, it's just that everything is sooooooo far apart :mad:Not potted for a few days ~ my wonderful, amazing Grandma died yesterday. I am so sad, she was an amazing lady.:sad::sad:
e4rub - I'm sorry to hear of your loss <<BIG HUGS>> - Grandparents are amazing people :T
Sparks - your quote has disappeared so I'll just refer to it. If you're ever passing this way (), feel free to pop in.
