Hi everyone. I haven't posted for a few days but I have been potting. I found 22p in roadkill the other day. I've had some bad news this week. I was turned down for a job even though Ive done a similar role less than four months ago. I'm really disappointed. :(
So I'm trying to look forward to other things. Like openingmy pot next year! I'm excited already. I think I've decided what to spend the money on. A shiny new laptop. Although the current one is on its last legs. I don't know how it's going to last for the next 11 months. :rotfl:

    Cheeky ;) Sue-UU!

I've been having a deep clean inside all cupboards and draws, getting rid of the 'rubbish' (soon to be someone else's treasure) for ebay! ;) or charity shop! :)

Here's to finding more today! :P
  • Hi Potters,

My usual £3.00 potted plus 3 shiny £2 coins :j. Some change, I didnt count, a couple of 20p and 10p - all potted. Sons potted 2 x 1p and 2 x 2p. But my 5yo wants to know why He never gets the golden ones :rotfl:.

It is Fridayyyyyyyyyyy, I am off this weekend and we are staying IN! I have planned lots of activities with the boys so we dont have to go out and spend money lol.

Sue, I hope in my dream my pot had at least £1470!! :p

    Have a lovely Friday everyone.

    L.
  • Sue, I'm so glad you are pleased with your pots. I didn't order any personally so was worried if they would live up to expectations! Quick delivery too!!
I love the Simplesaver name you have given me & think that would be as an appropriate name as the one I have.

I have decided to join your lovely thread if I may please.

    Many thanks
    Stressed.

I found 5p leftover from the farmers market in exchange square yesterday :) There's something amusing about bankers eating hog roasts. They might take our money, but they'll get bad cholesterol so they won't be able to spend it all wohahaha

I do it all because I'm scared.
  • You ladies are potting loads!

I usually count mine once a week (Sundays to update here Mondays) but I am very impressed with my DH ... He comes in and hands me all his change :j

I am also please that I am picking up other peoples throwings .... Can't believe people just throw the change away!

Joined a fair few challenges - Sealed Pot, Virtual Sealed Pot and £2 savers ... I am pleased to say in just over 2 weeks we have saved £50  Can't believe how much we used to fritter away without knowing it!!

Started with £5 in my sealed pot added £4 plus last week and we are out this weekend too so all loose change (including the shiny gold ones get potted - I like to have set budgets so we never really miss it)

£2 coins are up to £12 already and just short of £30 in the savings from the odd amounts I transfer weekly ... Needless to say I am another very excited saver :T Looking forward to the Christmas outings just so I can pot the difference :rotfl:
