6p roadkill retrieved from a puddle this morning. DD expressed disgust but its 6p nearer to disney!!

    :D

I like your thinking :D. Had a close call myself. Saw something twinkling in a puddle on the way home and thought the road-kill fairy was smiling down on me. Turned out it was a squashed metal bottle cap. Dang it!!!!!

So nothing in the pot today, but tomorrow i'm donating to the office fund to buy the boss an Xmas present, so i should have some change left-over (hopefully!).

  • Well first change in pot since last week - just not had any at all, So another 45p in there. Hubby was desperate for change for coffee machine at work - he refuses to take a flask and doesn't buy a coffee every day, so had to go digging into pot BUT I took £4 in change out of the pot and put £4 in pound coins in to replace the change so balance is the same, so don't feel bad doing that. Told hubby unless pound coins go in in exchange for change no change comes out of pot.

You're most welcome to join us, ninnoodle and kirstysmudge88, it's lovely to have you with us. biggrin.gif Have great fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.

    * Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much

You've obviously got sparky weighed up well, LC 2...and you were one of his many victims, right?? No wonder you were forced to leave town!!

A splendid amount, ruby_Eskimo, re the cheques, to my knowledge, they are only usually valid for 6 months, unless things have changed. You could always plead ignorant and simply ask..nothing lost there.

Thanks a lot for putting your No on, freshair and good luck with the sealing.

Don't forget to tape it after you've stuffed yourself, elfen, if you can move! An ideal recepticle.

Not to worry, supasick, you've had a NSD too.

    Better luck next time, mudflower.

Very well done on standing firm, prepareathome..though how sad your DH is willing to spend money when he needn't. You're doing both of you really proud!

Goodnight all and great savings again, NSDs too, all to be proud of.

Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's never too late.

kerri, to answer your question to sparky, he holds kiddies to ransome!!! No, that's not fair, but he does get most of

It from their playing ground...need I say more?? ;) Thought not.
hahaha I knew I was doing something wrong, no playgrounds near here
He stands outside Mr M's and when customers come out scares them they drop their purses and there you are road kill or sparky kill:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
you've both just made me chortle.

Tried my best but no more coins found in Livvy Street Station, will try again tomorrow. If I leave 5mins early I can wander round the ticket machines, is this really sad? I just want the luck the poem promises me for finding a penny honest.

Ooh and everytime I open my pot the coins smell lush as I'm using an old washing tablet tub mmmm
