You're right, sparky, I'm right here! Thanks.

You're all most welcome, tink1981, silverfox13865, MKI, chippy61 and Shellgsxr. It's lovely to have you with us. biggrin.gif Have great fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through post 1as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.
    * Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much

Did you wish me to put your Target of £365 on, chippy61?

All the best with making your paper mach! animal, ltink1981, you'll have a great time. :D

Have a look around spots where kiddies congregate, greenanne, you'll often find cash there - sparky does and if it's good enough for him......

Well done, cutestkids, keep it going and it soon mounts up.

You don't only need playgrounds to search around, kerri, as I've said above - anywhere that kiddies/young'ns congregate. Of course it's not sad to wander round the ticket machines, if you don't get the pickings some one else will. Just wander round in a nonchalant way...what are you....an SPCer or a wimp?!!!!!;)

A marvellous start to your pot, sheng! :grinheart

Hey Kes, why not pop that that extra £115 on to the SPC 4 thread found here to be included in the Grand Total now? Or would you sooner keep it through til next year?? Your choice.

Thanks for the explanation Kerfuffle, I'd no idea even though our friends are there, but then unless you actually talk cash I suppose you wouldn't. Keep hunting Kerf..and remember...you don't just need to have cash to say "Hi" so there! :naughty:

[Hiddenidentity]It feels quite heavy already, I'm determined to stick to this.[/quote]

Words I LOVE to hear, Hidden!!! :T You'll be so chuffed with yourself this time next year!

Brilliant news, kirstysmudge! £5.33 is a great starting amount, well done. :grinheart

    Good morning everyone
In answer to the following questions
    1. How do I find so much road change. - I look down at the ground whilst walking ( I do bump into a lot of people but eh,ho!)
    2. Do I have rellies in Canada - Unfortunatelt not - But I do know someone with a spare bedroom who's going to invite me my DW & our Jack Russel to come & stay with her, Hmmm any takers?
I keep bumping into people too, oops.

Canada is a very big place! My OH is going there for 4 months in February and I keep forgetting which bit it is, it was going to be Montreal but now it's some obscure place.

Anyway, this mornings adventures and I say adventures because they almost caused injury... resulted in finding 3 pennies.

The first one was at the top of Old Street escalator, a dangerous place to go grabbing pennies as the crowd will have you over. Lesson learnt today is not to grab pennies when my earphone cable is going to dangle under my knee, this meant I pulled on the cable and ripped my earphones out of my ears ouch!

Second penny was found on the way out of Old Street tube opposite the dress shop, the crowd almost pushed me over for this one as it was right in the middle of the walkway.

I almost missed the third one, it was staring blankly at me just outside mr T, but I whipped him up and trundled off to work.

    Happy potting everybody.

Can I be added to the thread please?

I plan to start the new year with a sealed pot, I had one earlier this year for two months, had over £500 in it when it was stolen :( But I'll be aiming to put any and all cash from babysitting and overtime into it along with change :)

 Newbie here reporting in for duty!! Am currently saving in a way to accessible giant tin, so planning to keep my eye out for a cheap box or tin that I can seal up to remove temptation.

I have started with a little bit of a cheat as I had around £4.50 in 5ps, 2ps and 1ps already. Added £2.40 today as hubbie made the mistake of leaving change from his works night out on the bedside cabinet that he did not spend. He can't complain too much as I did not touch the folding money:rotfl:!!!

Am aiming for £150 for the count up date.
  • Afternoon (already!!) all.

I have potted £1.08 today, am keeping the other £2 for now as i may need to go and get milk later. Depends whether the urge to pot takes over my need for milk. :D If i do go out i will be looking for road kill. However as it takes about 2 mins to get to the shop i am not holding out much hope.

Have a good rest of the day all.
