    Please could I join too? It has been a long time since i have taken active measures and have completely ignored MSE when in fact it has help me a lot in the past. I have things to save up for ( wedding, etc) but would welcome anything that is saved this year. Your encouragement may spur some Money saving tactics I have learned from everybody in here again...;)

    A few more coins gone into the pot today.I wore a coat this morning that i haven't worn for quite a while,put my hands in the pockets and thought yay.Alas it was just a couple of buttons.

    OH now has the hang of this! He now comes in from work and just tips out all his change on the dining room table for me to sort through. I only take the smaller pennies but he only moans they fall out his pockets anyway :D About 70p in the pot for me/us today :)

    Found some roadkill today - Yippeee!!! A whole penny! And I had to scrabble around in the wet pavement to get it. £2 coin in the pot though.

    umm if you made it bigger by clicking the 100% button in the bottom right of your screen just click the arrow next to it and change it back to 100%, if you've done it some other way . . . . umm im stumped :rotfl:
