It's not being dense at all, samtoby, if you don't know what something means, please, just ask. :) It's mainly = Darling Husband, same with DW (Wife) DD or DS (Son or Daughter). then you go on to DGS, DGD or DGK...Darling Grandson, Granddaughter, Grandkiddies etc. BTW= by the way, HTH = hope that helps and ATB = all the best. I hope that all helps for now, but any others you see and are unsure of, we're always only to pleased to

Thank you , I was reading posts and I was thinking of what it could mean. I guess its all about getting to know people on here and talking to learn the talk. I am so proud of myself I am saving more than I ever have before and its through support of reading posts by others situations. I wish I had visited years ago!x

Of course you can join, fozziebeartoo. A very warm welcome to you. biggrin.gif Have fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it helps so very much.

About time you joined us, fozziebeartoo! To have followed us throughout the last year and NOT joined is criminal!! Apart from that good to see you. ;)

I am ashamed to say that I found 20p in a supermarket this week......and I lost it:eek: There it was just glinting behind someone at the self service tills. As I walked past I swept the coin away with my foot but I was too enthusiastic and it glided underneath one of the tills never to see the light of day again.

:rotfl: Oh dear Elle, that was a sin for an SPCer, but it really did make me giggle at the 'sight'. If it had been jakes-mum she'd have insisted they move it or reimburse her some other way. :rotfl: Haven't you got a magnet? ;)

Wonderful news that you're saving so well, lucyhope, by the way, when is it you'll be going?

The very best to you also for 2012, Stressed. BTW, I'm chuffed to bits with my pot you led me to, our DD is with hers as well. :j

Hi Jaxx...it seems you've got a bit perplexed with the dates as this lot would never let me make them wait a whole MONTH to restart the challenge! You put the change in straight away...and enjoy doing so! :grinheart BTW the new challenges always start the day after the old ones finish.

    Well done, Raspberrysauce.

It' good to see a nice welcome, Pmo2..Thanks. :)

You've got it, samtoby, we all need to learn to talk again on messageboards..then to somehow forget it in normal life. Life's never easy. :(

Mornin LC 2, you won't forget my cuddle with him will you, good. The GGS will have samtoby wondering now; it equals Great Grandson. All the work's done for me too apart from outside work, brilliant.
Enjoy the day everyone and save well.

  • Afternoon potters,

Had a lovely lie in this morning. DD1 new camera arrived this morning and she is snapping everything in sight! Now taking a photo of my coffee:rotfl:

DS new game hasn't arrived and he is not impressed. Hope for my sanity that it does tomorrow. DD2 hasn't spent any of her money yet but is itching to go to the shops!:D

Potted £2 today. Need to get motivated and get out to buy the food to feed 17 of us tomorrow night. Really looking forward to a party with special friends.

Had to borrow some change out of the pot today for hospital car park charges. But it has now been returned with interest.
Well done e4rub on getting below £30k. It feels great to pass those milestones doesn't it?

50p for me today. Still clinking and not thudding when I put money in, it is rather a large tin though :D Gonna take a bit of saving to fill it up
