Please can I join this? I loe the idea of little and often and in my life money is beyond tight but i do find the odd 20p etc so would love to prove my hubby wrong and show him how much it mounts up over the year. If you'd allow me to join I'd really appreciate it. I think I will go and find a container now in readiness for my first deposit. (Will have to hide it from hubby or he'll go bonkers if he finds it)

It's not being dense at all, samtoby, if you don't know what something means, please, just ask. It's mainly = Darling Husband, same with DW (Wife) DD or DS (Son or Daughter). then you go on to DGS, DGD or DGK...Darling Grandson, Granddaughter, Grandkiddies etc. BTW= by the way, HTH = hope that helps and ATB = all the best. I am ashamed to say that I found 20p in a supermarket this week......and I lost it:eek: There it was just glinting behind someone at the self service tills. As I walked past I swept the coin away with my foot but I was too enthusiastic and it glided underneath one of the tills never to see the light of day again.


Imagine the haul ifyou were able to get underneath. Well that coin may have got away but there are others that won't ha ha!

Doing well so far-£1 a day since 1st December, didn't open my pot in November, we're saving for a special holiday for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Hopefully I'll be able to carry on and it won't be a day out in Leeds with our free fare bus passes!!
