Hello there,
Please can I join this? I loe the idea of little and often and in my life money is beyond tight but i do find the odd 20p etc so would love to prove my hubby wrong and show him how much it mounts up over the year. If you'd allow me to join I'd really appreciate it. I think I will go and find a container now in readiness for my first deposit. (Will have to hide it from hubby or he'll go bonkers if he finds it)

Have fun saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 3 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.
* Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very much
inamin, you by all means keep your pot hidden, it's your savings after all. Your hubby may well be chuffed to bits you've saved it - if ever you do come clean!Be happy and enjoy the chat and laughs we all have! you're one of the family now.
A brilliant amount, fishcakes!
Just a thought, nu1isit?, but maybe your Wife chucking money at you is a payment in lieu for a service in lieu!!!! Get the pants at the ready! :rotfl:
ooh Gap, I do hope you're feeling very much better now or soon will be.
Well done, Kylieminoag you're off and running and good for you!
You're not on your own, ModestyB, I hardly ever get any either, so all ours will have to come by the old blood sweat and tears.Anyone feeling sorry for us???
Trying not to be dense but what does DH stand for?
It's not being dense at all, samtoby, if you don't know what something means, please, just ask. It's mainly = Darling Husband, same with DW (Wife) DD or DS (Son or Daughter). then you go on to DGS, DGD or DGK...Darling Grandson, Granddaughter, Grandkiddies etc. BTW= by the way, HTH = hope that helps and ATB = all the best. I hope that all helps for now, but any others you see and are unsure of, we're always only to pleased to help.
It's good to catch up on your news, TheBees. Best wishes with your savings.
Well done, Deni debt-free dreamer.
You tell Mr Elfen that you're the one who's right, elfen!
See, it pays to clean through now and again, Raspberrysauce!
Well done on the cash, Mudflower, but you've put me right off anything else.
It's good to see you again, e4rub and terrific news about the under £30.000 debt!! :T keep focused and strong and you'll get there.
It doesn't matter about the amount, bubbs, it's just good for us all to hear you're away. It motivates us and you.
Happy shopping, jakes-mum, I reckon you've got a Mum in a million there.
You and I just the same LC 2, only 1p and both via our DH's, though which DH will we choose?? Darling obviously!! :rotfl:Sleep well. We've got a ruddy dog barking madly very close by, it's driving me dotty. Anyone says dottier than usual will be in trouble!!!
It sounds as though you really enjoyed yourself, mumof3plusoh, though a bbq in this wind!! So long as it was enjoyable. :grinheart
Have a lovely day today everyone, though it's going to be a wet one so, as sparky advised yesterday, keep your brolly handy.
Sue x

I am ashamed to say that I found 20p in a supermarket this week......and I lost it:eek: There it was just glinting behind someone at the self service tills. As I walked past I swept the coin away with my foot but I was too enthusiastic and it glided underneath one of the tills never to see the light of day again.
Imagine the haul ifyou were able to get underneath. Well that coin may have got away but there are others that won't ha ha!#19 Save £12K in 2019 challenge. Target = £10,000. Progress = £1136.09/10,000 (11.36%)
