PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Obviously this isn't the sort of forum where you get a serious answer to a serious question. HEY HO!:eek:0

Actually, to answer the original question: I'd be contacting all the national news media with the story ... ".... Virgin Mary field up for sale".0

Today, this user posted a thread about how well a buy your house quick company did for them. Hmm.Our home in North Wales, which were are currently trying to sell, comes with a field, which has a story attached. In 1997, only a few weeks after we moved into the property, the field attracted media attention when it was claimed visions of the Virgin Mary were seen there, and subsequent healings attributed to the field. For a while it was like a mini Lourdes. From time to time we still hear people claiming they have benefitted by visiting our field.
However, my husband and I are not religious and feel it wrong to capitalise on the field's 'fame' in order to sell the property. I am not sure how much of a selling point it would be anyway.
What do others think?
