Caught a penny in the middle of the living room...It was like a rabbit caught in headlights...It's now back serving time with it's 'mates' in The Pot

2 pennies captured whilst walking through town today. I nearly caused a pedestrian pile-up though as I performed an emergency stop to bend down and pick them up!0

I found one whilst de-cluttering. Deep sense of satisfaction as I put it in the pot. Are we the mad ones or the sensible ones?!0

I've been seeing the 'every penny's a prisoner' motto on peoples signatures so I had to look into it further and boy am I glad I did. I get so much stick off my friends for picking up money but so far this month i've rehomed 83 pennies, January's total was 75. I'm off to update my signature with those 4 lovely words.
Happy hunting everyone. xxxDebt free, aim to be MF by 50 (Sept 2026)

Lying on the floor at Pilates class last night and I could see 20c (cos I'm in Rep Ireland and it's all yoyo's and cents here) hiding up against the skirting board! All I could could think was "every penny's a prisoner" but wasn't near enough to capture them!! Next week I'll be putting my mat within grabbing distance and it's mine!!
Have you captured those pennies yet Sligo? I am dying to know whether you have managed to get them. I won't sleep until I know they have been apprehended!!
I rescued 5 pennies from a muddy puddle in the car park today0 -

Pilates again tonight!! I wonder will they still be there waiting for me!! I'm hopeful they'll still be there lurking in the cobwebs! I'll get there good and early and put my runners down on top of them to stop them geting away!!0 -
Yess!!! They are mine!! And they had multiplied!! Little 1 cent snuggled up to the 20 cent in the grime. Captured!! :j
And spotted another 10 cent on the floor and put my mat on top of it and snaffled it when rolling the mat up! Never thought pilates would turn out to be profitable - just expected it to be painful!0
