So she hit the central reservation on one side then the other?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Op for your own sanity you need to put this to bed and move on.0

At 70 mph in a spin you can traverse several hundreds of yards, so yes in theory she could have hit it several times.
So it looks like the first hit was really hard then a glancing blow was enough to send her head on into the other side so hard she was wedged under it.
You are so sure that all the people that have actually seen the car are wrong. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -

I just don't see how you can all know for sure that she was at fault. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -

May I ask, what's it to you?
We've got almost no information, and yet you are stating conjecture as fact. It's dull, and it makes you look stupid.
Let it rest.0 -

My husband saw the car and he said there was paint on the left hand side of the car. I asked him if it was from the crash barrier and he said definitely not.
Obviously I don't know the truth but I listen to what everyone says. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -
FOr YOUR sanity Turner, You need to leave this one alone.

I've got to let it rest now. I'm going round in circles. But thanks because you've stated what I'm thinking. There is no proof what happened. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -
I'm surprised that some posters are able to attribute blame and even say with complete certainty how specific marks on specific parts of the car were caused.
Unless anyone on this thread witnessed the accident we should reserve judgement and try to help the OP. Making assumptions serve no useful purpose.
I drive on the motorway regularly, they are statistically referred to as our safest roads yet I can see that they are the most dangerous.
How on earth idiots in lane 3 think they can stop from 80mph to 0mph in the space of less than one car length is nothing short of astounding.
They think nothing of tailgating other vehicles, which could be why the other day seeing 4 newish German-branded cars on the hard shoulder with front/rear bumper damage came as little surprise.
I'd happily bet money that most of those drivers don't know the stopping distance at 70mph.
The sad part is that when they are involved in collisions, they inevitably destroy the lives of an innocent family when a loved one suddenly doesn't return home one day.
What I find even more incredible is that these idiots are often driving expensive executive cars, God knows how they manage to con their way into decent jobs given their lack of common sense. It is a mystery.0 -
