She crashed for a reason and That reason keeps changing.
You don't know what if put down as the cause, You can only guess.

I know I am only guessing but so is everyone else. There is no proof of careless driving.

No I am saying what I said, you are trying to put YOUR words in to other peoples mouths.
I would not try that with the police officer, he may call in a collision investigator and your daughter could be prosecuted
"The notion that a vehicle could nudge another with no damage at those speeds and transferred forces is not a scientific one"
    SxVR+N/ CLS = NT

Will give you the force transferred
At 70 mph and closing collision speed of 5 mph it would be around 65000n or 6.5 tons of force, that makes quite a impact.
Figures based on average family saloon.

    No proof but possibly evidence.

    It is possible.

Too late for a collision investigator, if would have nothing to work from. Unless one attended at the time.

For your information I have had no contact with the police officer and nor will I. I don't know what you are talking about, putting my words into other people's mouths. You can blind me with science but it may just be possible that my daughter is innocent. However, I feel that she has been judged, and found guilty.

You have still not explained away the mark on her car and nor has anyone else.

Well you could also say there is evidence of someone hitting her because of their careless driving. I wish a collision investigator had attended then maybe the paint on the car would be examined.

It's a mark from the metal crash barrier.

You know that for sure do you?

So she hit the central reservation on one side then the other?
