Second supermarket mystery shop went well as well.
My car battery was flat this afternoon so had to call the Skoda assistance. I can't fault the service, as the bloke is coming tomorrow with a new battery under warranty for me!
We are away this weekend for my Dad's 60th, so a lovely break away with all of my familyI can't wait to escape the hum drum of housework just for a few days. It is such an identity change to go from a busy working woman for the last 10 years to a housewife overnight. I find the tedium of loading/emptying/loading/emptying the dishwasher enough to drive me insane!! Washing is another totally futile task. I'm not saying I'm completely undomesticated, as I enjoy cooking and sewing/knitting etc. I enjoy having an end product at the end of a task, rather than just another pile of washing waiting for me, or knowing that each load I manage to get dry just means a massive basket of ironing. Sorry about the rant, but I need a break after 6 months solid. Does this mean I'm ready to go back to work? I love spending time with Mini-MSE so much though, so it's a tricky one.
Anyways, I'm eagerly awaiting the publishing of the first MFiTt3 challenge chart. :TSlow progress is better than no progress.

Another day, another mystery shop. Just found some more with another website for a different shop. £2 reimbursement and £2 fee, not going to change the world, but every bit helps! (That's not a clue as to which supermarket it is by the way!)Slow progress is better than no progress.

Total for the week is £56.05. I will add £13.95 to the grocery budget underspend. Meal plan sorted for next week, not much to buy really. Hopefully I will use some things from the freezer.
We were away for the weekend in Shropshire, which was very nice. We spent the day in Ludlow yesterday and picked up some interesting foodie items.
We are having our patio door replaced tomorrow by french doors, which is very exciting! There is a hell of a draught that comes through the existing door so hopefully the lounge will be a bit warmer.Slow progress is better than no progress.

Popped into Waitrose as I needed some baby milk and was craving sushi real bad since Monday when I went to Yo Sushi in Solihull but it was closed
There were some reduced bargains including two haggises, (haggi, haggiss) which I have put into the freezer, and also some veal burgers.
I have made great progress on my quilt this week, and I am just sewing the binding. I found a lovely blog which I have been reading this week hence not been on MSE much.
My free teabag and toothpaste came thanks to the freebies board.
I did two little mystery shops for a different supermarket which were nice and easy but not very well paid.Slow progress is better than no progress.

Very snowy here, especially where it has drifted! The garden is about 6 inches. We managed to battle through the elements up to Morrisons to stock up on veg for tomorrow's Sunday roast and some essentials. We have entered the Morrisons prize draw twice this week so fingers crossed!
Applied for the RBS credit card last night as I am seriously concerned our cash stash won't last until September and I really don't want to have to dip into our overpayments savings. It is 0% on purchases for 15 months so I will put big things like the council tax, car service, new tyres, etc on there to keep the cash flow going. I realise it will be difficult not to rack up a large bill which will wipe us out when I get back to work, so we will carry on with our budget as before.
Made butternut squash soup for lunch which was very tasty. Morrisons had a big bag of carrots reduced to 75p so I got those to make more soup with as it's good to have some in the freezer for lunches.Slow progress is better than no progress.

I'm a bad person! I have been MIA for nearly a month thanks to some new blogs luring me away.
So what's new? I still am totally not bothered by chocolate, which is a miracle! I think I have lost just over half a stone by eating less and choosing healthier things to eat. I have had three hypnotherapy sessions so far, the last one is next week.
I have been running pretty regularly, and am doing the Race for Life in June. I have also entered for a 10k in September, so that is a good long term goal to keep me fit!
Money-wise, we are still meal planning, although I haven't been tracking my spending as I've not been on here. We are definitely less than £70 each week though.
I need to update MFW2013. I have stopped the standing order of £150 as times are getting very tight indeed. I don't think I will be able to make this year's target, but you never know.
I'll update in a minute.Slow progress is better than no progress.
