I am stupid, stupid, stupid.
This morning I moved DH's car to the top of the drive so that I could get mine out by reversing round it. I went back into the house to put his keys back, got into my car and reversed straight back to get off the drive. Straight into DH's car! My reversing sensors were beeping like mad but I kept on going. Slight damage to both cars (DH number plate smashed, mine has a small bit of trim hanging off) but I am so angry at myself :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
I am so bloody preoccupied thinking about the next thing that I am doing, without concentrating on the task in hand! Luckily I was going slow, so Mini-MSE was fine, I don't think she even noticed.
Anyway, I have been inspired to write down 5 positive things from today:
1) I found the book I had sold on Amazon ages ago but couldn't find so had to cancel the sale
2) DH suggested we go out for lunch to cheer me up after above incident but I stuck to the meal plan and we had spag bol.
3) I had the second portion of spag bol for my tea
4) Posted a book I sold on Amazon with one of my free 1st Large stamps from the Royal Mail surveys, so maximising my profit
5) Have made my friend happy by getting our group organised and booking a table for her visit home this weekend. It is no mean feat getting 13 people in one place at one time.Slow progress is better than no progress.

Total spend for the week is £85.22. We went to the butchers on Thursday and stocked up on £25 worth of meat that we haven't used yet, so that can come out of the underspend total. So £15.22 over budget. Not too bad!
Had a lovely first Mother's Day! I woke up to a lovely card from Mini-MSE saying how she'd asked Daddy a few weeks ago to go and queue for Beyonce tickets at the NEC and he had managed to get some! That's on the 27th April. I couldn't believe it as I was expecting some perfume or some flowers!DH is very sneaky as he had told me he needed to go into work for a few hours and I believed him.
I have just spent the rest of the day at my Mum's. We all shared cooking a big lunch which was very nice. I made my very first quiche today, a crustless spinach, feta and tomato. Very tasty it was too! It was quite easy so I will definitely try it again. Mini-MSE hasn't slept since about 10am as all of her cousins were there and there was too much to look at to waste time sleeping. She wasn't grizzling or anything though so she was a good girl. I just brought her home and she was asleep in her seat before we got to the end of the road.
We are having some more Boxing Day reduced turkey for tea.
My Amazon money should be appearing soon. We did a restaurant mystery shop on Thursday night which was lovely as it gave us a night off and my parents babysat. There was a £35 reimbursement so we had a lovely meal for not much more! :money:Slow progress is better than no progress.

Booked two mystery shops for the next couple of days that will provide me with £20 worth of groceries for freeee!! How exciting! I have to answer a lot of questions and remember the descriptions of three different people, but I'm up for the challenge.Slow progress is better than no progress.

I think the duty manager needs some kind of comeback. If they are on the floor perhaps you could use them for your product location query?Slow progress is better than no progress.

I enjoyed my supermarket sweep this morning! Just as well as I've booked 4 more! So that's £50 worth of shopping for a couple of hours work. The form didn't take too long to fill in. The McD's ones are more trouble than they're worth. Me and DH call them ballbusters rather than g@pbusters.
Thanks for the tuna tip, GG! Must think of more things to get my money's worth.
I will track my spending and transfer the reimbursement to the mortgage as the grocery shopping is already budgeted for.

What tax? I don't think we need to declare it as it's a reimbursement rather than a fee.Slow progress is better than no progress.

The tax man views these as taxable benefits (which to be fair they are - you wouldn't do it for nothing
)
