If you do not like the arrangements for pensions, please quit your jobs and make way for the millions of unemployed who do not mind, and want to work for a living rather than moan. Be glad just to have a job, and if the pension issue bothers you save up.
Wanted a job, now have one.

This could get interesting lolCommon sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
Totally agree! Like all jobs if you are not happy with the pay/conditions etc then QUIT!!! simple! I am sure the pole population would be more than happy to do the work and not wine about having to pay more in THEIR pension for THEIR financial security in the future....
Ok I have lit the touch paper...0 -
The bankers have robbed the economy blind and people's pensions are being robbed. The last thing we need is some little quisling to lend legitimacy to it.If you do not like the arrangements for pensions, please quit your jobs and make way for the millions of unemployed who do not mind, and want to work for a living rather than moan. Sorry but I have very little time for anyone that says people should be lucky to have a job. Some of these people have worked for years in low paid NHS jobs on condition that they might get some sort of decent pension on retirement.
At the time the NHS were grateful for anyone applying for these types of jobs and people were offered jobs on the spot as it was difficult to recruit. These people were in effect lied too by their employers as they took low wages in return for a decent pension
They are now asked on top of their low paid wages to contribute an extra 3% of their salary and retire 2 years later then expected.
Very nice :eek:0 -

Yes that's right Andy give the jobs to the Poles just so they can send the money back home and not put it into the UK economy.
They are happy to do the work as you say and from experience if there was no NMW they would work for £3.00 per hour.0 -
We have to remember that when you train for a job, then give years of service you have a right to expect that your conditions of joining/wages/pension will be honoured by the employer. We are talking about small pensions in most cases, reasonable amounts and many pensions barely on the poverty line. This government will not budge we know that, but its day will come and it will be gone. Until then we have to support our workers all we can. They do not get their pension for free, they pay into it every month. Lets see a comparison of a nurses pension against a Whitehall Civil servant. They won't tell us will they.0
