There's no way you got an iPhone 4S for free. It must be provided to you on condition that you pay a monthly fee over a specified period. This is nothing remarkable.0

Shame, and the new Apple 5 is supposed to be released in March '12 !0

Never such a thing as a free lunch or phone in most cases!!!
Crazy monthly tariffs cost/term these days if you want a top-end phone for nothing up front!!
If you want a free gift then the often the phone spec drops!!0 -

Assuming that it's what the OP has got, I'll do the maths for her.
Cost of the airtime: £10 p.m. (chitter-chatter)
Cost of the phone: (£36-£10)x24=£624
Price of the sim-free phone from Apple: £499
Interest over 2 years: £624-£499=£125
Interest rate: 1.95% p.m.; 25% APR :think:0 -
Looks like an ad for the website mentioned, who incidentally messed up my order with them to the point at which I happily cancelled and paid slightly more to deal directly with my operator.0

You forget that the phone from mobiles.co.uk will be locked to a network, unlike an unlicked phone direct from Apple. So youre paying 25% APR to have an inferior product. Plus you lose any manouveability. Say if you go on holiday for a month, on PAYG you pay £0 on contract you still pay £36 and use no minutes/ texts.
Sounds like the worse deal ever?!?!?!0 -

I don't know -- have you seen some of the people that work in Apple stores? Telephone lickers the lot of them0 -
Well.... i'm happy with it!!! Orange couldn't offer me the phone for free - even though I had been with them for 6 years and unfortunately I can't afford to pay an upfront for this type of phone - therefore a monthly payment works out better. I'm paying £36 per month - exactly the same as when I was with Orange but a newer phone.
I'm not too bothered about the Iphone 5 - I'll get it free in 18 months!
Shame that trying to do other people a favour (as I was searching for a while for this free phone) comes back to bite you in the bum with criticism!!!0
