  • There were definatly stolen, Its a childs grave and there were only little keepsakes, Ive been down nearly everyday for the last 2 years (the graves been there 3) and this isnt the first time, doubt it will be the last so annoying .

    Thank you xxx

That's awful HI (((hugs))), def report it - I honestly just don't understand how some people can do things like this

Fridge seemed to pack in last night  the temp was up to 15 deg (not good!) so have crammed what I can into the outside freezer and put less valuable things (bread, veg) etc into the inside one.

Milk etc is in the garage as it's colder in there than in the fridge atm - hope it's OK.

It does seem to have cooled down a bit overnight so it must be working on/off but it's still too warm (7 deg on bottom shelf) ....... will need to have a hunt around for something when I get home tonight (guess it'll be clearing out all the pots and having to start again!).

    Have a good Monday everyone:)

My fridge packed up just before Christmas a couple of years ago and it was going to be into the new year before I could get a new one delivered. The contents of my fridge (including the Christmas dinner at one point) sat on my back door step.
Look on the bright side - it could be summer and much (but not that much) warmer outside and going off much quicker :)

  • Morning (just) everyone! I've been catching up with some of the weekend posts, will carry on a bit later with the rest of your news.

We had a really nice weekend, MIL & FIL were down for DDs birthday so my parents came round as well, had lots of food (thanks Iceland!) and a lovely day all in all. Yesterday we were busy pottering about the house, had a lovely gammon in coke for dinner. Then DS1 threw his guts up, bless him, got himself into a right old state about going to school today after getting punched at the disco on Friday night. Didn't want him having today off as it would have just made it harder for him to go back so refused to take him in until I'd spoken to the head, she managed to totally reassure him that it was being dealt with and teachers are going to be keeping close to ds1 today so that he feels secure. Plus DD has her first proper cold, so she's really struggling bless her. Hopefully she'll be ok in a couple of days (esp. as Weds is her birthday)

I managed to get an nsd yesterday as we just stayed in, plus won't be getting anything today except bread and milk (and I don't count either of those as spends) so I'd like to declare nsds 5&6 thank you BDINI.

I'm going off to sort out how much was spent on shopping/party stuff and off to update on the GC thread.

Hya everyone, been AWOL for a few days, making things for a fair yesterday. Didn't go well, only sold just under £15 of stuff...table cost £15, but I only paid £5 as the lady took pity on me! :o

Managed to snaffle NSDS on Thursday and Saturday, planing to make today one too...so that's 7 NSDs now BDINI, can't see me making 18 this month, but I'll keep at it! :)

Well done on getting a tenant BDINI...what great news! :T:T

Have a lovely Monday, see you all later in the week. x

...slightly off topic but...I have decided next year everyone is getting either books, CDs or DVDs for Xmas...sooooo much easier to wrap (and I'm only half way done with this years - argh!!!!)

This has been my tactic for a few years now and I highy recommend it!!
There is always something of a funny shape but i do manage to mainly buy square things!! The major exception being my Dad's beer but i'm not too bad at wrapping the bottles as I've had lots of practice over the years I've been buying it for him!
No more buying books Books in 2016 = 20.
    Target for 2018 = 7/21
No more buying DVDs ? 2018 target 27/52

  • Got NSD #5 on Friday. I did have takeaway but my OH paid for it so I'm not counting it!!

I seem unable to manage NSDs during the weekend though -yesterday wasn't too bad as I played rugby 3 hours away so spent the majority of my day on a bus or a chilly rugby pitch! Had to pay my subs though so missed the NSD - I really need to try and be more organised and get that money ready before the day!

Went shopping on Saturday to finish off xmas presents - turned out I didn't need many, which is good :D. And had a nice surprise in WHSmiths - went in to get the Sun for the free lego and also bought my Dad a magazine - when it went through the till the Sun are having some sort of £1 off promotion (not sure how that works as the paper was only 60p) so I got a paper, a magazine and some lego for less than the magazine would cost on its own - bargain!!:T

Am hoping for another NSD today though I'm not sure if I can scramble together enough food for my lunch tomorrow if I don't go shopping - it will be a challenge!
