Hello again chaps and chapesses, still just 2 NSDs at the momemnt but there will definitely be a few more this week as I had a food shop session today. Got some bargains in Lidl then finished off in Mr S. And there I was, wondering what to spend the £12.50 worth of Nectar points on that I'd collected over the year, when OH rings me - "the frying pan's sprung a leak."

£12 spent on a new frying pan.

    Only in Nargleland.....

Oh and welcome to SeasideSarah - I am sure Bdini, Solventsoon and the rest are even now as we speak arranging your initiation ceremony.......just avoid the soggy paintbrush. And mind the incontinent donkey. And if Igor offers you a sandwich, say you've already eaten.

  • Evening all.
I'm most proud to declare NSD 2
    Hooray!!!!!
I know that tomorrow will most definitely not be a nsd because it's dd's gymnastics day. So I've decided that I will also buy my secret santa present and pay the lady who is making my new niece's arrival present. So tomorrow will be a big spend day then hopefully I'll cut right back on Wednesday and Thursday.
I'm almost skint anyway - starting to wonder how to pay for my Christmas night out on Friday.

  • Spend day here-I bought three presents, some Christmas decorations and some groceries.I was tempted to buy two baking books for myself, which I can afford (they're not pricey)but definitely don't need.I could use a different recipe from all my books every day for the rest of my life and still not use them all up....I even have a few books that I've not yet used.:o

Don't think I'll get an NSD before the weekend now.

Nargle you do make me laugh!

I have a similar addiction to cookery books :o
But at least I'm down to only a couple of magazines a year instead of at least one a week now..... though I have to admit I've started picking up the supermarket freebie ones this past year ;)
