  • Ching-ching. NSD#2 bagged today. I decided to go for my plan of giving the books to my mum for ds1s present, so the one spend I've had I'll get the money back for.

There should really be a lot of these nsds coming up as having realised that we will no longer be entitled to free prescriptions etc that means the deficit when I start work will be even greater than first thought. PLus have found out that their payday is a couple of days before I start, so will have to wait almost 4 weeks before I get paid so goodness only knows how we're going to manage until the end of Jan and having to pay for childcare as well.

LMH Get well soon, wrap up in bed while littlies are at school and get yourself better before you go away.

Nargle o2 are great for new customers but once they've got you they don't want to know. DH was with them for a couple of years and they had no interest in any problems he had and refused to do any deals when his upgrade was due. He got a better deal going elsewhere as a new customer. His dad has also been with them for years (since they were BTCellnet ) and they are awful to him. He pays a fortune for not very much, has only ever had 2 upgrades since being with them but he won't go elsewhere as he's one that once he's there he'd rather stay than getting a better deal or service somewhere else. Love your posts btw, they do make the day brighter :D.

Need to get better asap as I am going away in Friday :j So fingers crossed for me please peeps x

Hope you're feeling better soon LMH, have plenty of hot drinks and keep as warm as possible. I always think sleep is the best healer so try and get a lot. Hope you have a good trip. Hugs.

Well I went to Aldi and from my £15 budget I spent....less than £11 :D Very pleased with that as I got everything on my list and even upgraded to the posh apples instead of the green ones :j

So, as that money was allocated yesterday I'm declaring today to be NSD #3 as it's chuffing freezing in Edinburgh and there is no way that I'm [strike]changing out of my pyjamas[/strike] going outside in the cold again today ;)

No 4 for me today and that's 4 in a row.

It's turned really cold today, I can see my getting the 'long johns' out of the drawer for tomorrow. Top half of me keeps quite warm as I put on extra layers but the bottom half of me gets really cold. I use the little dog as a 'hot water bottle' in the evening when I'm sitting down. Even he has a fleecy coat which he wears indoors.
