Is it REALLY bad in the North?

I've not done much/any cycling in The North due to a fear of being told 'I were right about that saddle' in a slightly patronizing way whilst being passed by delivery boys humming the New World Symphony (Google it if you think you don't know the piece).
.
didn't google...but was that the one filmed in shaftsbury, if so proof southerners moan more but blame our northern neighbours?0 -
:)Yes it's dreadful don't come back we have enough whining southerners already;) pushing up house prices and showing off flashy stuff like shoes and electric..
I have to admit I work for a southern based company so I am getting the best of all worlds I can see how grim you lot have it and I can go home and gloat:D0 -

York isnt really in the North though. All the roads in to York have some form of spacial displacement field.York is actually 20 miles outside of Bath.0 -

The very same.
Actually if you think Poms moan, try the Aussies. They still bang on about an 80 y/o test series! Definitive proof that Southerners moan more.
Well we've solved today's philosophical question (who moans more). World peace or house prices next...?0 -

In the south I hear rumours that they have something called HOT water which they put in their baaaths. Apparently they don't even chip th'ice off top of it first.0 -

They do in many southern homes or in the homes where the silly bint remembers to turn the immersion on in the morning more than an hour before she baaaaaths.
but they dn't all have heating, so shiver under their wet hair about half an hour after a luke warm baaaaaaaaaaaath.

Do they take the coil* out(of the bath) first though?
* Coil is a quaint Northern term for Coal which some people may remember we used to dig up and sell;)0 -
