You sure you were credited 99p in both accounts? Surely you were credited 99p on one and debited 99p on the other?
I spent £9.66 the other day on my debit card. 34p was then taken out of my current account, and 34p was put into my savings account.
i.e. that's zero profit.0 -

Not that I experienced
My OH and I stopped by an ASDA petroleum last Sat. Chose a self-service pump. Me did first for a 2.01 transaction, then my OH, then me again, then my OH again. So, 4 times with 2.01 each without any prb :rotfl:
Also logged in my Natwest online banking to pay my Natwest CC by our Lloyds cards, 2 x 5.01 each.
All went through smoothly and now the "changes" is sitting in my Online Saver :T :T :T0 -

My daughter is a student and has both HSBC and Lloyds current account.
I'm making my payments to Egg Pay from Lloyds current using my Lloyds Debit card for the STC.
Is it possible for my daughter to do the same with an HSBC debit card. (I don't have any HSBC accounts, so don't know how they work). How should she do it?0 -
...... just wondering, is this going to be a long term thing or a couple of month wonder? I dont use my debit card very much prefering to use my cashback credit card instead but if it was going to be a long term thing it might be worth signing up for. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Surely there's no point in remaining registered after the 2 month 'matching' promotion?Judi wrote:...... just wondering, is this going to be a long term thing or a couple of month wonder? Short term for bagging the £100 STC, but the scheme will go on beyond that until further notice.0

It's a couple month wonder. It may be worth doing for the two months (until March 31st) then move your spending back to your cashback card on 1st April.Judi wrote:...... just wondering, is this going to be a long term thing or a couple of month wonder? To make this clear, if you want the matching money, you need to be registered until at least 1st May. From the T&C's:YorkshireBoy wrote:Surely there's no point in remaining registered after the 2 month 'matching' promotion?LTSB wrote:Matching funds for Feburary purchases will be credited to your nominated savings account before 1 April 2007 and for March purchases before 1 May 2007 provided that an eligible savings account is still open and you are still participating in the Save the Change scheme on the date that the matching funds are credited.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -
