Mine was burnt at 4 hours think some folks have taken 4.5 hours...

The icing I made was terrible to spread but did taste nice, only used 3/4 of Brandy as not a huge fan of it! Cakes are lovely though!

Lots of these cake mixes available in Allerton Road Tescos for £2.00, at the end of the cake aisle near all the birthday cakes etc. Didn't seem to be shifting many of them!

Lots in Tesco Extra Gallions Reach today in the aisle as you walk in next to the walkay that goes upstairs and in the Christmas goods aisle near tins of biscuits - £2 each.

not many cupcake ones left in warrington but lots and lots of the cake one- in a large basket at front of store and also on little sidestack displays in the store, i got another one to make for my brother's 30th bday in january!

hundreds in Southend Tesco, piled high unopened cases but no muffin mix.

I picked 2 cake ones up yesterday at £3.00. My son got me 2 of the cupcake ones today and they were £1.00 each.

Hi All,

Just popped down to my little local & there were 2 of the Xmas Cake mixes left on the shelf, I went to the till & they run through at £10 each :eek: :eek::eek: I couldn't believe it! I only paid £3 on Monday, when I questioned the price with the SA & told her they were running through at £2 in the large stores she said 'Yes I know I saw them today when I did my shopping!' She then overid the price & put them back on the shelf .......

It wasn't my day!
