think you need to ask this on a different board and thread, m8, as this thread is all about cake mixes :rotfl:
  • Loads of cakes & cupcakes in my big Tesco. Just picked up 5 cupcake packs for £5 - we'll be having spicy cupcakes till Easter!

Cupcakes are the better bet if you want a cake without alcohol, as easy to substitute lemon or other flavouring in the icing.

Loads of the cake mixes left in Royston last night - not many on the shelf in the Christmas aisle, but if you looked up on the very top shelf (where they normally store extra stock) there was a massive row of them.

There might not be any cupcake mixes left though, sorry ;)

Am trying to work out what bits of this cake are triggering the sell-by date. Do you think it is the nuts? Or the marzipan?

Why on earth do Tesco stock things at different prices in the same region? The mixes are £2 at Royston. A 12 pack of Corona beer was £9 in Bar Hill last weekend, but £10 at Royston. I know they charge different prices sometimes in the Express stores, but both Royston and Bar Hill are Extra stores (and Ely too?)
