Allerton Road Liverpool have still got lots of Xmas cake kits left and a few Cup cake kits @ £1.
If you have got a Wedding Cake to make stock up on the Cake kits. You will need to buy extra Marzipan and more icing but still a very good bargain.

Lots in Fforestfach swansea and down to £2.00 I got 2 so I have 4 for next year thinking of getting 2 more and use fruit to make Mincemeat.

I've been out and bought 2 tonight. No cupcakes left though. I will cook mine on Christmas eve hopefully. Working for the next few nights.

The cup cake and Christmas cake pre-packaged bags are now £1 and £2 respectively. Bought one of each and only paid £2 as cashier thought both were the same and scanned cup cake one. (Tesco's)

The christmas cake actually works really well, I've got one sitting in my kitchen, just waiting for it to cool before marzipanning it!!!

(beware it does take 4 hours to cook!!!)

I shall probably save it for Easter now as I made mine some time ago but couldn't resist a bargain.

Thanks. I got one tonight to save for next year. You have to spend about another £3 on butter, 5 eggs, orange and lemon, but a finished cake of this size would probably cost you over £10 if bought ready made.

Wonder if they'll finally clear them at this price: there were plenty left.

Yep a load in Uttoxeter this morning at £2 a pop (have a load in the cupboard so didn't buy any more)
