Very excitingly, we discovered last night that DH is actually OWED money by the tax people - was expecting to have to pay about £1,000! So we should be getting about £500 sometime shortly. This is good news as it means that we can really tackle the Barclaycard before the 0% runs out. Will probably use some of the tax money we've saved up, expecting a bill, to pay this off, and then top up the tax account whenever HMRC see fit to pay us what they owe!0
