Hi Danetastic - welcome to the thread. I think that in order to advise on what to pay off first, it wouldbe helpful to know what the interest rates are on your overdraft and CC.
Then I would pay off the most expensive debt first.2022 Target - Reduce new mortgage balance after house move - Part 1 (Ported) Starting balance £39,982.12 currently £37,242.19 Part 2 Starting Balance £101,997.88 currently £96,197.38 (as at 19/04/2022)0 -

£8 for me today. This is way too slow for me and I need to up my game. I have nearly £4k on a cc to pay by August before the 0% runs out . Doesn't sound that much but on top of everything else it will be hard going. I've sat for most of the day choosing a new kitchen which I have promised myself when I pay this all off so that will spur me on I hope
.

Paid off £5 from ebay and Quidco so that's 46.00 paid off so far this month. Hmmm not going great, decided to sell my Santander shares asap, which are worth approx £750. Then I found out Santander will soon be charging me £20 a month for my overdraft so I think I will vote with my feet and get a new bank account but this also means my £1300 overdraft needs paying off now:( looks like this will end up being added on to cards and the debt increased. So gutted as its one thing after another right now. On the plus side our joint account is also so overdrawn that BFs also wanting to be fruggle too so at least I won't be broke alone and stressed out about the lack of money because he'll be being better too:)
I'm hoping all these increases are temporary and not the real picture of our finances. There's been there car insuarnce, £130 of bits for the car this month already so its not like its all normal expenses. Phew here's hoping a few balls come up on the lottery soon through lol even a tenner would help:)Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
I closed my Santander account I was not impressed but to be fair no bank is great I'm with Halifax now i don't like the hassle of organising direct debits but I suppose as things get paid off less to transfer to new banks :-) xx lets aim to put a cripple on the financial companies bonus's this year hehehe xI AM A MONEY MAGNET, THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR ME AS WE SPEAK:pMIKES MOB, DFW NERD 1071, DFW LHS 132!MIRACLES HAPPEN I'VE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. They are truely awful and pretty useless customer service wise. I have quite a few shares so looking forward to selling those and using the money to cut all ties with them:)Debt free and busy treating myself:)
