    Hello

reporting in with some more payments made this month

    My Barclaycard £109, Hubbys B/card £72.60, Argos £25.26 and Creation £19 = £252.86

    new total
    25. charlyze2 - £1814.51/£9000

    getting there slowly.

Hubby applied for and just got another job which will see his wages increase by £4k a year basci and then when he goes to shift it will add on another £3k so will be able to start hitting the cards hard in a few months when everything is settled. The only issue is at the mo we have only one car as he rides his bike to work. The new job is a lot further away so will have to get another car :(

    Congratulations to your husband! :T

  • Hi I've only discovered this thread and would be interested to know - do you all pay things off as overpayments. For example, do you pay your card's minimum payment then when you save a little pay that off the card/debt also? good luck :) Moggy

hi Moggy - yes that is what I do :D I managed to get rid of my credit cards last year doing this and now tackling my loan which I have split into 3 years :D Every penny counts and the more you can put in over the month the less the interest is coming off next time :D

I am sure the others will tell what they do too - Good Luck in your quest :D
  • Thanks for your reply - i admire you all for being so good at this ! it never occured to me before! doh! I'm off to do a few sums yikes

Keep up the great work! ;)
