My update after re-jigging my finances till month end and also because although it was my turn to do the weekly shop - OH did it and has told me to put money into loan overpayments, so my new total is

#2 £8,590 / £10,000

It looks as though I may actually reach my target for this year
(provided nothing else unexpected happens)!

Thanks:-) I'll make my target I hope but actually have £2850 of debt left to go. Doggies not too well at moment either, cost us £100 today, damn it for not getting round to pet insurance months ago when we meant to. Even meant to do it yesterday and didn't . Still the excess would have been that but then we wouldn't have had to pay anything further. You can't win with these things! Dogs worth it:)
