I got a letter from MBNA though saying they're paying me back for missold PPI whoo hoo so that's a cheque for £370 coming my way. This will then be used to pay off more on my Virgin CC.

I can't believe my DM and DF both said 'that'll be nice for your holiday!' I am so not going to spend it on holiday! I have budgeted for the holiday (to an extent) No spending willy nilly when I can pay off debts!

Ooh, that's great news about the ppi :j Well done for using it for debtbusting too :T

Hi jwil and everyone doing the pay off as much as you can in 2012 challenge,

I was wondering if I could possibly join the challenge please? I would like to pay off £15,000 by the end of the year.

Welcome midnightsparkle, good to have you on board. Good luck with the debtbusting :)

Felt a bit of BD creeping up on me over the weekend which is now lurking whilst at work - might have to pop outside to take the air shortly.

    anyhoo

regular payment of £200 made to Bboyds Lank

plus, was fortunate enough to win a few quid on lottery/lotto/instant win/blah blah

so rather than Spend, Spend, Spend, I paid £60 extra payment to Captain V

so total for April = £385

    and running total is

    £1,862.40/£4,000

woo hoo, just noticed my total debt has (just) fallen below £7k

    :)
