    Hi All,

Sorry I've been so quiet and not making my regular overpayments but my OH has been sick and I can't rely on his income, he is only getting SSP. We are not sure how long this will last but I'm hoping he can go back to work at one point in April.

However regular payment of £310 left the account today and I managed to make an overpayment of £1000 as well. There will be more in April but not quite yet.

    So current running:

    24. kavics17 - £11,690.73/£30,000

Another payment today of £210 making my total

    Marvin6418 - £420/£9350

Still feel I have a long way to go and lots of things have halted my overall plan to clear my debts but hoping in a couple of months to be back on track and get this total up and the total loan figure down.

    Congratulations on the bonus :j :j :j
Well how things change in one month

Have accepted a new job but for less basic pay but with a few hours overtime it should work out about the same. I will also be commuting around 50% less miles. I start my new job in May.

The difference in salary is equivalent smoking (I am not a heavy smoker) so I have now given up the weed as I don't like relying on things like overtime.

This month has been a good month I suspect giving up smoking has made most of the difference. Also mainly had sandwiches for lunch and not canteen food.

    This months total is £504.78

Again thanks for this thread it is helping me keep focused

Overall total for your page 1 update for number 97 £1331/£4510

Congratulations on the new job and giving up smoking :T :T :T

I have sadly had a recent bereavement and I'm going to use my inheritance to pay towards my mortgage as I think my Gran would approve (never had any debt in her life!). Can my new target be updated to £57,000? Thanks
