Hope you feel better soon lolly (((hugs)))

Thanks Rosie! :) I'm feeling much better now :D. I had sandwiches for both lunch and tea the other day (quick fix meals :o) and bread doesn't really agree with me so I'm putting it down to that - never actually been sick from it before though, which is strange.

I've got £2.10 from discounts on shopping to add. Very excited about today, I LOVE Xmas eve!!!! :snow_grin:rudolf::xmastree::xmassmile:santa2: Got to collect a parcel and buy a couple of bits from Tesco, but aim to be in the pub by 1pm at the latest, lol. Will be back early evening to have fun with the kids, and get everything ready for Santa (and Rudolph - must remember to buy a carrot!!!!!).

What is everyone else doing today?
Oh, and if I'm not back on here before tomorrow... :xmassign:

  • Hello everyone! and a very merry Christmas Eve to you all :santa2::santa2::santa2: :)

Isn't it amazing to read of all the i've done Christmas without using a credit card stories :) It really does show that its such a great thread and that we can do it with a little planning and a lot of support from our MSE friends :)

    Well done Everyone !!!!! :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

I also have a little bit of news - my first charity auction on facebook went really well yesterday and i have made my first £20 for charity :) - the first payments are going to Cancer Lifeline.

I have to say i am absolutely delighted with that and i hope to continue on auctioning things off for the benefit of the 3 charities i have chosen.

I am of course still doing my own earning and debt reduction but one of the things i find really hard is not being able to work at the minute so this is my way of being able to feel a bit less useless!

If anyone wants to have a look at what i'm doing on facebook just pop on by to the tropical fish NI auctions 4 charity page (I can't add a link but we are hard to miss). If i am allowed to i may do the £10 challenge for both me and the charity page from next month onwards :)

Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and no doubt i will be on to have a wee look at any christmas updates! :p
