  • Merry Christmas all!

I've just collected my first £5 voucher from swag bucks. :T I've not paid extra for quick delivery though as I'm to tight, plus its now next years christmas pot so I'm not in a huge rush.

Also Valued Ops reached £10 so I claimed that one too which is now sat in my amazon account waiting for my next shopping trip. I've already declared my december total so have left these off. (plus I don't' claim til they arrive.)

Now Maximiles - the vouchers are all a pot on there, I think i'm going to work out exactly which are the best to get in a points to pounds ratio. I've been saving for an amazon voucher, but it looks like getting M&S ones will be better value for money.

  • Last Friday i called to book a cookery course for other half. The voucher was 1 week out of date & T&C said it couldn't be used. lovely chap on the phone said as it was Christmas he'd book the course and not charge me £20 to extend the voucher... voucher was worth £80... so am adding it to my total. Am so pleased. Also sold another cd on amazon.

  • Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas:xmassmile.

Just been to the cinema with my Mum.... £20 for 2 adult tickets:eek:. Mum is insisting on paying, but still. This confirms my belief that buying on DVD is better value £5 and you can watch it with the whole family as often as you like.

Have just received another £5 voucher to add courtesy of swagbucks :D. After some thought I'm adding £4 a day for the time I'm away over Christmas as money saved on food etc as that is about what it averages out to a day at home, so far £12.
  • HI everyone! Hope you all have had a great christmas! :)

i managed to win £5 on JPJ :)

also just trying to get back in the way of doing daily earners so boosted swaggers balance up to 351 on my charity account

and for me maximiles up to 2400, superpoints up to 607 and did about 20 earning clicks on emails.

So no money received today but did a wee bit to get closer at least :)

Not too much to add apart from £60 for working an additional shift on Christmas Day @ double time (value of cooking lunch for 6 vulnerable older people and seeing them happy and relaxed ~ PRICELESS :D )

Oh what a week! Hope you've all had a wonderul christmas!

Had a lovely few days away in Bath, gorgeous hotel in the sticks and fab shopping. Shame I had the LO with me as she was a monkey in the restaurant but apart from that...bliss! Even spotted Nicholas Cage whist shopping in Bath centre! :D

I have made some money, £20 cash from Daddyo, £10 gift voucher, £3 shopping savings. Thats all I'll add as I cant rememeber the rest! I had a lovely xmas day (once the ex left) He stayed the night on xmas eve in the spare room as I was feeling generous, it allowed him to watch his daughter open her presents as she was too young last year. He woke in a foul mood and was made worse by me accidently putting his son's toy in my sons stocking. He blew his lid, shouting, swearing so I kicked him out and told him not to come back. After that I had a wonderful day with my family joining us for dinner. Lots of fun. Had the day to myself yesterday and was at a loss for what to do! My daughter came home bright as a button but after being in bed for only 15 mins, screamed as she had been sick...everywhere! So I havent had much sleep and the washing maching has been working overdrive but we're still in good spirits.

Feeling rather positive for the year ahead, whatever happens with finances, fostering, ex's and my family, I will survive and be happy. Hope your all in the same frame of mind, we can get through it together!

Merry Christmas and Happy 2012 everyone! :D
