I've just signed but I'm not sure these petitions work. The ones I've signed in the past have never made a jot of difference.

In 1908 the Smallholdings and Allotments Act 1908 was passed.
Our allotments have a waiting list and more young folk are taking up the challenges afforded by the "sport".
Last I heard about the government was that they were to encourage allotmewnts not stop them! Also that allotment growers would be allowed tpo sellsurplus produce - of course its not big beer in terms of votes.

Who knows; I am purely taking a punt!
It's close to my heart as a keen veg grower who is no 2 on the local waiting list; so one day maybe they might listen.
