MINOR GLITCH in this site

Stick a few quid in the meter, this site is getting worse its like wading through treacle today, pages taking minutes sometimes to load !

Site very slow today. If I post something, it immediately tells me it's a duplicate of something I posted within 30 seconds (which it isn't). Getting rather fed-up with it - judderman is right that this site is unique in terms of its unreliability. Why can't the techies sort it out? It's been going on for weeks now.

I get that too. First the site is incredibly slow in loading pages, then I post something and although it hasn't shown as being posted and I have only hit the button once I immediately get a message saying that I should not post twice within 30 seconds, so I save my message and go back into the thread just to see it has indeed been posted! That's prokbably why I see so many duplicate posts because people can't see it has been posted already so they are just hitting the button again.

Looks like it must very with region because for me it's been quicker than ever this morning - a couple of times it has stuck and not responded at all , but on the whole it's been pretty good this morning.

Maybe the "Post Quick Reply" button should be renamed/removed.

It also reposts the same thing if you try to edit or delete a post. Hence I now have three on the same thread and didn't dare try to delete again as it would have just re-posted it.

Not only that, but when I posted the above it told me it was an invalid thread and yet hey presto it has posted.

I'm getting this loads aswell! Just assumed the servers were still being tweaked!

When I click the proceed button again (or whatever it says) it always says this is a duplicate of a post blah blah. So it is submitting the reply but just not taking you to the thread!

Been quite slow of late aswell! :think:
