I have just had it when my last post was posted, in fact happening quite a few times but now the posts actually go through and there is no delay in refreshing the page the way the "glitches" used to be.

For the second time I've just had the message to say I have already posted in this thread within the last 30 seconds, when I haven't and instead of it taking me to my post it takes me to the first post in the thread.
post was made at 5.250 -
I had it a few times last week too. I am with AOL and it only happens when going into a thread.hWildly my mind beats against you, yet the soul obeys. :heartpuls

rest of info as above.
Have to say that I'm surprised that webby and Martin seem surprised.
I have been on line for some 6/7 years and this is one of the most unstable sites of any I have experienced - possibly THE most unstableHate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing
Do little and often
Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying :mad:0 -

This is strange behaviour considering the servers are more stable now. Can I ask exactly what time of day this glitch occurred please?
5:48am is quiet in terms of users but it's also when our nightly backups occur. You might falling foul of their resource use.
Any further information such as your ISP and location within the UK would be useful here folks.
Thanks,
Webby
Thanks for looking into this. I can't say for sure as the post does not get saved under my user CP, so I lose track of it. It is always in the mornuing though as I only post then usually before 7am. I use AOL and I live in Cornwall.
The biggest nuicance is that the post gets posted but not saved in my CPNO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0 -

I have had this a few times, think posts always go in ok.
But I go Back on browser & block copy what I have posted in edit box (CTRL-C),
to make sure I don't lose it, in case it was not posted, just in case.

Your user CP is on the control bar near the top of the page. It's where you can look for all the threads you have posted on.

I am getting the same notice frequently. It happens more when I reply to a thread than when I post a thread. Apart from one occaision, the post has always appeared. I have had to come out of mse and go back in again.0
