MINOR GLITCH in this site

This glitch thing is driving me mad. It's been constant for most of the day and my posts aren't registering in my control panel and are duplicating themselves in the thread (I can't edit or delete for some reason).

I am in Glasgow on NTL

Phew, first straight run at it all day. I assume the server tweakers knock off at 5.00 then. Glad they remembered to switch it back to normal before they left!

This seems to have gone on for several weeks now, so I wonder if there is an end point in sight.

Also been terrible for me today. Im in Surrey and on Orange Broadband. Seems to be ok at the moment (Touch Wood!)

System is shot for me today, and has been bad for the past few days as well. The most infuriating thing is that I have duplicate posts on page 4 of a thread, yet I can't get to page 4, whatever I click or whatever I do I end up on page 3..it's like being in a sci fi film, I know page 4 is there but I can't get to it.

Suffice to say yesterday morning was hopeless on this site, really slow and lots of glitches. I did report it, but got a default reply that they receive 1000's e-mails every day and they basically don't care. Have a look at one of these threads and see if that answes your problems.

Hi folks,

Sorry for the glitches and slowness over the past few days. We're all very aware of it, and how frustrating it can get for you guys, and the techie team is working hard to fix the problem.

It will be smoothed out as soon as possible, though they are working tirelessly on a few things at the moment which will improve the whole site for everyone. Thanks for all your patience - we're getting there!
