I'm currently working on this! I have no idea how much I weigh - only that it's too much :rotfl:
I've been attempting to stick to a rigid routine that's both frugal and figure-friendly. So at the moment that's:
- Breakfast - Total 0% yoghurt with fruit and a little bit of granola; or warm porridge with berry compote
- Lunch - jacket potato with Quorn pieces, chopped tomatoes and low-fat cream cheese
- Dinner - something light, maybe a SlimFast or a bit of fruit or a mezze of salady things (celery, cucumber, carrots)
I'm also trying to get back into the routine of walking to work (30 mins) instead of hopping on the tube (10 mins). I've managed to persuade myself to do this only when:
- I have my sensible boots on
- It's not raining
- I haven't overslept
... so not that often then :rotfl:
My first big challenge was on Saturday when I accompanied my lodger to Tesco. I could not believe how much filthy, tempting Christmas food there was displayed everywhere  So many interesting, unusual tidbits... gingerbread houses, brie and cranberry things, marzipanny stuff... it was the worst half hour of my week by far!Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

Welcome to the gang Badger_Lady (not everyone wants to put down a starting weight so don't worry about that), and yes the shops are BAAAAAAD at the moment (luckily I have a fatal nut allergy so I am not tempted

Just a quick update on how things are going. I got ill a couple of weeks ago with this really nasty cold that's been doing the rounds. It hit me really bad and in all honesty it's probably because I'd just been going at the diet/exercise thing too hard. I wasn't eating enough to support the extra calories burnt. Also now I'm smaller (yay) losing 3-5lbs a week isn't sustainable so I've found a new way of logging the calories and am aiming for a much more sensible 2lbs a week from now on. It's a little frustrating but it is nice to eat a bit more and not go to bed hungry.
I'll weigh in tomorrow although it will be a bit deceptive since it's about 10 days since the last one.
Hope everyone is doing great. Have the scales started to finally drop for you yet Kaz? (apologies, not seen any posts lately-kinda lurking)Smashed through my weightloss target. Looking at 120lbs+ loss. BMI over 40 down to 20.5. Training hard to get body fat under 20%, not far to go now :j0 -

Morning all. Well I do have a weight loss to report.....0.25lb:o Well done to all of you who are doing better than this.
I suppose after the very very hectic week I have had I should be grateful I have lost anything. The problem with having very little time is that you tend to just eat whatever is easiest rather than thinking about it.
Also how come when you have one indiscretion (like tonight I have a work meal at Prezzos) it takes an entire week of being good just to stay the same?
Answers on a postcard please.Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D0
