Problems with 3
HI i have an iphone 4 and i have just started a 12 month sim only contract with 3 for £10 a month. its a really good offer but i have been having problems with the reception
the 3g is fine i have had no loss of service, but when at home or at work if i recieve a phone call it rings fine and i can answer but they generally cant hear me on the other end, apparently is is either crackly or nothing at all, but i can hear them perfectly?
now i had been with orange for over a year previously and never had any issues so i am assuming it is to do with 3 and not my phone.
if i cannot recieve good signal from 3 can i cancel the cotract and get a pac code to transfer my number elsewhere (i already transferred my number from orange to 3 as i have had the number for several years and i really need to keep it?)
thank you
vikki

Worth giving them a call.

However it's odd that you do actually have a good signal but a fault on one way comms - I suggest you tell them this first rather than cancelling outright, I think you might find there is a fault somewhere that can be fixed. And I would not rule out the phone (can you borrow a SIM from someone else to test?).0 -
well, i have a good 3g connection but when i recieve a call the signal strength drops to one bar? its driving me mad i have had a few calls from work and i can hear them but they cannot hear me at all?
very odd0 -
Sounds like a bad sim card to me. Try asking for them to send you a new one?0
