Washing up done. Two curtain poles and all their bits sanded and washed, Just waiting for them to dry before I paint them. Third pole taken down and washed, so needs to dry before I can sand it.
Need to get some logs in, fill the coal bucket and then potter about doing other bits and pieces.0 -
Morning all!!
Well that was a rubbish nights sleep:mad: I finally finished painting the study at 2.30am then went to bed expecting to sleep as I was knackered. But no - still awake at 4am. Then got up and made a hot water bottle and tea as I was freezing - pain killers didn't work so took some gabapentin. I think I went to sleep around 4.45 and alarm went off at 6.30 as builders arrived at 7.45.:eek:
so far I have taken more painkillers for bad back and chronic migraine - supposed to be working from home but answering phone but couldn't get on laptop as no landline or internet.
I will try and do some from the list each day but probably not able to do whole list. I am going to do HHC now and try and warm up as doors all open.

Welcome to all newbies, and happy flying.
Thanks to Dusty for last weeks thread.
Greenbee~~ you are on the sick list end of! now for goodness sake rest up.
Just phone the dr's surgery and been told by reception, 'Kaz blood results are back, they are normal, no need to see a dr, bye' and hangs up, what the fck, ...........does that mean I have beaten Type 2, does that mean I don't have to take my tablets any more? when do I have to go for my next blood test or don't I any more?
Going to give it 1/2 hour and call back and ask to speak to the dr, hoping the same person doesn't answer the phone, grrr. They have never done that to me before, and normally are so good.
Flying wise
Finally caught up with the washing, well it is done and some still wet, some dry and in airing cupboard, some in a heap for ironing.
Floors done
General clearing up done.

Kaz - I had the same problem last time, was told the tests were normal, so asked the receptionists whether that meant taking the tablets or stopping them... They got the GP who requested the tests to call me back
I'm not THAT sick, and don't want to be bored...
Logs in, more logs chopped and stacked, coal bucket filled, pipes lagged... Although I didn't have enough lagging, so if I feel up to going into town tomorrow I'll pick up another pack.
Spare room, landing and bathroom hoovered, so now I'm going to rest, then have lunch and then see what I can get done before my massage at 2pm. Tidying the sitting room might be sensible so that there is space for the massage couch...0 -

Hi all
Its Money Saving Diva's OH.
Just wanted to say hi and thank you to everyone for your kind thoughts and candle lighting on and around Fri 14 for the scattering of Sonjas ashes. It really was and is appreciated.
Those of you that knew MSD will know how keen she was to save money and enjoyed the thrill of cash back etc.
When I was arranging Sonjas funeral, I chose the Co-op and they told me early on that if the bill was paid within 28 days then I could get a discount on the bill. I thought that was good and Sonja would be pleased that even in death she was saving money.
Imagine my surprise when last week I received a letter from the Co-op to confirm that my dividends of £23 will be paid into my bank shortly!!
Surely thats dedication to the cause... saving money 10 months later!
Best wishes to everyone.

Afternoon all
Today I've cleaned the kitchen/diner (even cleaned the oven and got all the marks off the glass door). Dusted and polished living room and desk in hallway and vacuumed right through including up the stairs. Then washed the kitchen floor. One load of washing sulking on the line. I've written my Christmas cards, I'll post them next week. Emptied all the indoor bins before black bin day tomorrow.
All this with a cough;)
Oh and I watched Misfits.0 -

Curtain poles are nearly done. Ironing has been returned, and lunch eaten. So I think I need to do the following in order:
Sort out summer clothes to pack away
Put away clean laundry in bedroom
Put away clean laundry from airing cupboard
Put ironing in airing cupboard
Get out curtains ready to hang
Put away sofa covers and summer clothes
Then I can sort some of the stuff in the study, as I need to find my address book so I can write my christmas cards and work out whether I need to buy any more0
