  • Hi All,

I'm going to join in next week as much as I can.

I have a busy week ahead workwise and, after the week I've just had, am hoping I can actually get some work and housework done!

Just in summary, DD3 (2) stuck a fruit flake up her nose on Tuesday, which ended up in a trip to A&E, only to be told it had already melted by the time we were seen by a nurse! Then DD2 (5) swallowed a 5p coin today just before bedtime, so I had to take all 3 DDs to A&E again so she could be X-Ray'd and told she'll be fine - it just has to pass. She now has a 'cool' picture to show all her classmates tomorrow at school. I know these things are supposed to happen in 3s but I really hope DD1 doesn't do something to necessitate a trip to A&E next week. I really could do without another 30 minute journey to the hospital. Oh, and to top it all, I have to call the AA tomorrow morning as it sounds as though my steering pump has gone on the car again (was only replaced in April).

These things always tend to happen when DH is working as well!

Anyway, enough rambling. Here's my list for tomorrow. Will update later when all three DDs are at school/childminder!

    Morning all,
What an awful night's sleep here.... not sure why...
I've got my course this morning then i'll get the list done. WM already on and dry clothes has been lifted of the rads and wet stuff put out. Gonna go and get the DW emptied and reloaded, might go pay a bill or two while i'm at it.

michbright hope there's no more trips to A&E this week for you. My DD used to have this thing with swallowing coins. Not good for my nerves..:rotfl:
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

The anaesthetic only takes 48 hours to get out of the system (it's gone now... so I think I might need painkillers :(), and this was a much less dramatic procedure than the last couple of times, plus I'm not anaemic anymore... Getting stuff done will help reduce my stress levels...

I've been awake for a bit but I'm not up yet. It was obviously cold last night as there is frost outside, which makes I even more important that I get the curtain poles and curtains sorted!

I mint even get my winter tyres put on this week...

    Morning ladies.

Thanks to kaz and the crew for doing the thread.

As I'm not at work today I will start the week with good intentions and see how much i can get done as the house is a pit - except the cupboard under the stairs which we turned into our drinks cellar. Junk is spread up the hall tho :( but hoping DH will move it if i kick his butt.

First things first, need to shower so might as well do the bathroom at the same time. Back laters x
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

    good morning everyone

    hi cloverfan

finally got to sleep at around 4am  -most unusual for me - then had bad dreams :( so I'm feeling a little 'woolly' this morning.

However I'm up :T; I've eaten breakfast, fed birds when i brought in the milk, and WM is on - load includes an outgrown hoodie (DS) that can go in CS bag once laundered.

the house has finally reached a stage where I can follow the list to some extent :j and all i have to do to declutter the hall and stairs is to remove the dustsheets from the hall floor - I've been stepping over them since we finished decorating...in August :o.

Please can someone tell me how to cut and paste on a laptop with no mouse? I have no idea what the equivalent of a 'right click' is on this thing!

Loving hugs, spoons and sticks to all. Here's to a good week for us all  xx
