Ajmoney - good to hear you're having fun with it for a while. My daughter is about to do Grade 4 but her teacher lets her have a while or playing pieces she wants to learn inbetween each exam. My son is about to do grade 2 and is still enjoying it. I hated learning because my teacher used to hit my fingers with a ruler when I got something wrong - don't think they'd be allowed to do that now. I play again for enjoyment now and then and would defintely like lessons once i've remembered a bit of what I used to do. Well done again xx
I've had a lovely day with my children. This morning I gave them a list of what I had to do today - dog walking, appointment etc - and they made up a timetable so we could be finished by lunchtime. They even helped without being asked!!! Then we had a 3 hour monopoly game - it was soooo nice to just relax with them rather than be rushing to the next thing.
Minimal flying but it was worth it! And....we had our aerial fixed after 4 years of tv not really working. Wooooooooooo! Funnily enough....we looked and there's not much on to watch!
Hope you've had a good day xx0 -

As a born again flyer I am going to promise never ever again to go to bed without washing the pots and wiping round the kitchen. I have been leaving them for either DH or DS to do but I think I just have to accept that that's never going to happen and the only way they get done is if I do them.0

Study curtains packed up to send to my mum so they can be interlined by the time I go home for Christmas. Birthday present for cousin's baby wrapped and packed up ready for the same post office visit tomorrow... Cards stamped. So lots of stuff will be gone again tomorrow, and I can make a start on the wrapping
Need to load the DW and check up on the drying, then head off to bed I think. Last day of sick leave tomorrow, so I must remember to book a GP appointment for a checkup next week.0 -
No proper flying done today
I took my Dad to his club then went to my friend's to drop the Christmas stockings I'd stitched for her and cut her hair so money saving for her:money:
Tried to sort my budget outas the csa was under again this month  I phoned them but they say they can't do anything until next month IF it's under paid again
DD1 has tidied herself side of the bedroom and DD2 is "working" on hers
While I worked on some of my Christmas crafts
Lots to do tomorrow and I have to wait for a call from DD2's dad about dropping the old car off to his friends which will give my parents some cash. . . . . which they're putting towards the new cambelt and water pump we've been told the new car needs

I have done some Minion Christmas shopping. :j: I do like online thingummies. Well, when they turn up - two parcels have gone missing recently, both through Royal Mail signed for. And, to my amazement, the exact camera she has asked for was reduced by over half.
Ugh. I have been removing fleas from grumbling cats. I can't buy/use proper flea treatments on the kitten and the others only had them recently. Wretched frontline. So it's off the the vet just before Xmas.
And I have a gumshield monstrosity to try and wear tonight, as the cracks in my teeth have proven to be as a result of being extremely stressed for the last year. The dentist built up the worst two with some compound, but I'm not convinced it is going to last for more than a couple of days. Was going to just wear it at night, but realised very quickly this afternoon that I'm clenching my jaw almost constantly. So I've had it in since dinner. It's horrid.
Oh, and DD1 hasn't bothered coming to collect her birthday present. Even though she apparently arranged with Minion to come today, she never bothered turning up or calling her. It's going to turn into her Christmas present if she doesn't get her !!!! into gear, the ungrateful mare.
Cleaned the upstairs bathroom, though, so that looks nice!I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Morning All
I'm awake at a ridiculous time again - stupid cold! I had a burst of energy last night after I'd had my bath so I folded some clothes, emptied and reloaded the WM and TD and cleaned all the cupboard fronts - maybe it's because there was caffeine in the tablets I took!
I'm going to sort out the WM and TD again in a min and then I need to do some ironing.
Have a good day all
Hugs
