I agree it's an amazing opportunity, see if you could get booked into a different hotel as OH's parents!0 -
Hey Buffy and GRC. I will go to New York, if OH can afford it by then that is. I would like to save up quite a bit of spending money if I go though. I would want to pay my way after the comment OH's dad made when we went to Spain.
Speaking of which, his parents took us out to lunch at the weekend. One of the reasons I don't like going there is that they always insist on eating out, but I can never really afford it. So I got his mum some Kindle books from Amazon (£11). Think that more than paid for my lunch, but deflated my Amazon money a bit.
Feeling really tired at the moment. OH has a cold and is snoring like a trooper every night. I might put the airbed up tonight and make him sleep on that - he can sleep anywhere.
Going to see the movie Like Crazy tonight. Going to have to pay to park though as still no sign of my disabled badge. It's only £1.80 though, so not too bad.
No email back about the valentines card. I've managed to persuade OH that they are a waste of money and we shouldn't buy each other one. I think he is pleased I suggested it.

Well, Like Crazy was okay. It was an indie film, so was a bit different, but definitely watchable. A lot of the people coming out of the cinema hated it though. It was a free film though, can't moan about that (although I had to pay £1.70 parking). Seeing Carnage tonight. Will report back tomorrow.
Think I'm going to get a new phone. I've ordered a Giff Gaff sim card, as they offer 250 minutes, unlimited texts and internet for £10 a month. Seems to be much cheaper than Vodafone, but I need an unlocked phone to put it in. There's a Nokia I like on Amazon for £65, so I'm thinking of getting that. I have £35 in my account, so I figure £30 for a phone isn't bad.

Good morning
Looking after my niece today as she isn't well and my sister had to get food shopping. Been watching Peppa Pig for 2 hours now. Going to go loopy soon.
Carnage was okay. Quite funny in places, but it just sort of ended. I don't like films when they have no real conclusion. Plus there was a really bad vomiting scene. You know it's bad when everyone in the cinema says 'urgh!!!'.
Speaking of which, my niece just threw up everywhere. Better clean it up.

Spent half of the day watching tennis. Poor Andy Murray. He played so well and still lost. Still, I think there are lots of positives to take from that match. His game is looking very strong so fingers crossed he can get that slam this year.
Picked up my disabled badge the other day, so I can start mystery shopping again, without having to pay for parking. The questions on 63336 haven't been too bad. So for February, I'm going to try and do my 100 a day and do some mystery shopping too. Then I'm going to give my MS money to my mum, as I would really like to pay her back (owe her £1k).
Saving up my Amazon vouchers for that phone at the moment. I've got an old unlocked phone that I can use in the meantime. Not sure if I will be able to get all my presents for free this year or not. I would rather pay my mum back and I can put any survey money towards that too. I can always do the present thing next year.

Feeling really rubbish today. I've either got my OH's cold, my niece's cold, or a bit of both.
Chest is so painful, but only because I'm coughing so much. Finding it hard to catch my breath. Will see how it goes over the next couple of days, but might have to go up to the hospital.
It's my late nephew's birthday today. He would have been 6 - can't believe it has been that long. Not sure I will make it to the cemetery, but I'm sure he would understand.

Thanks Lou :A. I did drag myself down to the cemetery in the end. Didn't feel right not to.
Feeling a bit better than earlier - just wish this stupid cough would calm down a bit.

Still feeling a bit rough, but better than I did. Although I can't seem to get warm and I'm still slightly sleep deprived.
Starting a run of MS jobs from tomorrow. Really don't want to cancel them, so will try to get them over and done with and then stay indoors for the rest of the day.
OH is going away tomorrow night with his mate to Dublin. Means he won't be back until Sunday. I'm so looking forward to having the flat to myself for a bit.
